Metria has for several years driven a goal-orientated quality and environmental strategy.
Focused quality and environmental strategy
This has resulted in that our environmental work is directed at our in-house operations so that a minimum of damage is done, and also in offering our customers products that promote environmental changes within their own operations.
Environmental education
Our colleagues receive an all-round environmental education. This education focuses on nature’s cycle and principles, the great environmental threats, Swedish environmental goals and the National Land Survey’s own environmental work.
Environmental and quality management assurance systems within Metria
Metria AB is environmentally certified according to ISO 14001:2004. This means Metria has an environmental management system as a foundation for a systematic environmental work, striving to integrate environmental policies and environmental goals, in all products and services that Metria provides.
The system will be a support for colleagues who strive to integrate Metria’s environmental policy and goals when working with customer assignments. The system will also be a basis for acquiring environmental certification according to ISO 14001 which Metria will start to introduce during the autumn of 2011.
Metria’s environmental policy
The purpose of an environmental policy
Metria’s policy will be a key document that lays out Metria’s environmental work and how environmental questions, and awareness of aspects of the environment, permeate Metria’s work when producing new products and services for customers, and the general public. The policy will be the foundation stone for ISO 14001.
